what is the elevate series?
The Elevate Series is a new and unique take on what the industry knows “workshops” to be. Knowing the power of teams who lift each other up with their individual talents and gifts, The Elevate Series, puts an emphasis on working together with three cohesive team elements. Wedding planners and designers, Florists, and Photographers are all given the opportunity to grow together and individually through teaching, and hands on development. A three day retreat at the breathtaking Middleton Place in Charleston, South Carolina, the annual Elevate Series Retreat is unlike any other learning experience available. Classes concentrated on foundational business practices, the beauty of building a team of creatives in your area, honest and in depth round table discussions, and break out sessions per specialty, leave retreat attendees feeling refreshed, challenged, and capable for their next season. Attendees work alongside Wendy, Charla, and Maxine to produce two incredible shoots, learning alongside us, and gaining hands on experience, while gathering insight into the work it takes for each component to come together, and produce a cohesive and uplifting product for all involved to flourish. Stunning visuals are created to elevate attendees portfolios, while relationships are formed to grow deep roots in community. Every evening is spent breaking bread in breathtaking locations, laughing, learning, and getting to know one another. With three experts in the top of their field truly laid open to share their knowledge, secrets, and passions, this event is an immediate “level up” for those who come eager, willing and ready to lean in, and learn. group sessions & round table topics
Each morning, after breakfast and plenty of coffee, we will begin our days as a group. Discussing topics that effect us all as wedding professionals, we will grow together in knowledge that can help us all toward our goals. Before we dismiss for our specialty break out sessions, we will share time in open discussion and Q&A. From marketing, to branding, all the way to styling 101, and social media, nothing is off limits during these times together. Previous times together have left attendees feeling like they already got exactly what they were hoping for, no shoots needed. These times together are the bread and butter of true growth before we put what we have learned into practice. Our hope, above all else, is that our attendees leave feeling like they grew and did more than create beautiful things. It is these sessions that ensure that beyond the beautiful moments made together, our attendees can leave, now able to create for themselves and their clients again and again.
